I was talking to my dentist about bad breath and he asked me what I did for a living. I told him I was a writer, so he asked me what I wrote. I told him I wrote articles like this one. He said that he had been trying to get his dental hygienist to read my articles because she kept asking him how I write such good articles. He said he finally got her to read them and she liked them so much she wanted to have me come in and talk to her students. She told him that my articles helped her students learn to care for their teeth and gums better than any other method she used. I thought that was pretty cool.
So I thought I would share this with you because it is something that many people don’t know about.
I think bad breath is a very common problem. It can be caused by many things. The most common cause of bad breath is bacteria. Bacteria love warm, moist places. So they love your mouth. They also love food. They like to eat food. So when you eat food, they eat the food. You see where this is going? Bacteria love food. So when you eat, they eat the food and they produce an odor that is not pleasant to others.
When bacteria are eating food, they are producing waste products. When you have bacteria in your mouth, they produce sulfur compounds which smell bad. This is why you need to brush your teeth after every meal.
If you don’t brush your teeth, then bacteria will build up and produce more sulfur compounds which will make your breath smell bad. If you do not use dental floss, then you will have plaque build up on your teeth and your gums. This will also contribute to bad breath.

So what can you do about bad breath? Well, there are many things that you can do. First of all, you should brush your teeth after every meal and at least once a day. Second, you should floss every night. Third, you should use mouthwash to kill the bacteria that are causing your bad breath. Fourth, you should use chewing gum or mints to mask the bad odor that your breath has. And last but not least, you should stop eating foods that are high in sugar. These foods cause bacteria to grow in your mouth.
